NIT Mizoram Educates NEUHOF Students on Anti-Corruption During Vigilance Awareness Week

In a significant outreach effort, representatives from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Mizoram, visited NEUHOF School to enlighten our students on the critical issue of anti-corruption. This educational initiative was part of the broader Vigilance Awareness Week 2023, organized by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).

The session was designed to instill a deep understanding of corruption’s negative impacts on society and the importance of integrity and transparency in all aspects of life. Students were engaged through interactive workshops, discussions, and presentations that highlighted the various forms of corruption, its prevention, and the role each citizen can play in fostering an ethical society.

NIT Mizoram’s team emphasized the need for vigilance from an early age, explaining how corruption undermines economic development, erodes trust in institutions, and affects social justice. They introduced students to various anti-corruption laws, the mechanisms for reporting corruption, and the ethical responsibilities one bears in both personal and professional spheres.

This initiative not only enriched the students’ awareness but also equipped them with the knowledge to make informed decisions in their future roles as leaders, employees, and citizens. NEUHOF School appreciates NIT Mizoram’s commitment to societal betterment through education and looks forward to more such collaborative efforts in promoting ethical values.

We are grateful for this opportunity to expand our educational scope beyond academics, ensuring our students are well-prepared to contribute positively to society. Thank you to NIT Mizoram for this invaluable session as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2023
