Rules & Regulation

  • Failure to arrive at School on time will result in a fine of ₹ 50/-
  • Students who are constantly late will meet with the Principal, which may even lead to expulsion from the School.
  1. All students are expected to come to School in proper and decent uniforms. Students must wear the correct uniforms according to the days assigned.
  2. On the assigned days to wear T-Shirts, students must wear their respective House T-Shirts, Sports Pants and White Socks with White Shoes.
  3. Each student is assigned to a different House (Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red) at the time of admission. Students are not allowed to change their House color as they wish.
  4. Shirts must be properly tucked in at all times while dressed in School uniforms.
  5. Necktie should be worn properly on all formal days.
  6. Skirts/Tunics should be worn at knee level. Short skirts are strictly prohibited.
  7. Boys must not wear their pants at their low-waist. Tight fitting pants are also prohibited.
  8. Cleanliness of the uniforms will be checked on all working days.
  9. During winter time, girls are allowed to wear black stockings underneath their school skirts. Boys may wear black inner wear (half neck) inside their shirts.
  10. School bags purchased from the school must be carried by the students on all working days. Fancy bags or any other bags are strictly prohibited.
  11. All students should wear only school shirts that has the school’s monogram.
  12. Failure to wear the School uniform orderly will result in the following disciplinary actions:

Third TimeParents will be called and may even lead to expulsion from the school
  1. Tiffins must be brought every day in a proper tiffin box. The tiffin box must be wrapped properly with a napkin/cloth.
  2. Any kind of meat product including frozen meat is strictly prohibited for lunch.
  3. Healthy foods are highly encouraged. Parents must cooperate for the well-being of their children.
  4. Clean water must be brought from home in a water bottle.
  5. Friday is Fun Day for the Primary Section and on this day students are allowed to bring any kind of food that they desire. However, meat products are not included.
  1. Students from the Primary level are allowed to wear fancy dresses on their birthday, if they wish to do so.
  2. Students are allowed to bring sweets or any kind of candy to celebrate with classmates on their birthdays.
  1. Finger nails must be cut short.
  2. Correcting Pen/fluid, Steel Scale, Scissors and any other sharp objects must not be brought to School.
  3. Courteous greetings to teachers mark good conduct of students; therefore, every student is expected to extend greetings to the teachers.

Hair Style

For Girls

  • Girls must wear their hair in two braids.
  • Girls must use only plain black hair ties.
  • Colored hair ties and colored clips are strictly prohibited.
  • Students may use the same colored band and clip as the
    color of their house t-shirts.

For Boys

  • Boys should have short, clean haircut. It should not cover the ears and eyes.
  • Styling of hair and use of hair gel is strictly prohibited.
  • Shaved haircut and long hair is strictly prohibited.

For Girls:

  • Girls must tie their hair in a low ponytail.
  • Girls must use only plain black hair tie.
  • Girls should use only black hair clips which should not be more than 4.
  • Using colored clips and colored hair-tie is strictly prohibited.
  • Coloring of hair and use of hair gel is strictly prohibited.

For Boys:

  • Boys must have short, clean haircut. It should not cover the ears and eyes.
  • Shaved haircut and keeping long hair is strictly prohibited.
  • Spiky hair and fancy hairstyle is strictly prohibited.
  • The use of hair gel is not allowed. Hair oil in small quantity may be used to groom the hair.
  • The use of cosmetics such as –lipstick, colored lip gloss, powder/compact, mascara, eyeliner, contact lenses etc. is strictly prohibited on all occasions. If students fail to comply with this, a warning will be given. Continuous disregard of warning will result in a fine of Rs.100/-
  • Wearing fancy earrings, bangles, rings, bracelets etc. is strictly prohibited. Only simple, small stud earrings are allowed for the Girls.

TOBACCO

  • Consumption and possession of tobacco and other tobacco products such as – Shikhar, Sweety Supari, Cigarette, Mittha/Zarda pan, Beetelnut, Raja, Khaini..etc. is strictly
    prohibited at the school.
  • If students are caught with possessions of these products, the school will take necessary actions against them. They will also be imposed with a fine as under:
Shikhar, Sweety Supari etc1st Time – Rs 50

3rd Time – Expulsion from School

  • Eating or chewing things in the classroom is a nuisance and is therefore strictly forbidden.

LANGUAGE

  • The school follows a strict discipline regarding the use of English language within the campus. This is to improve the language development of the students.
  • All students are expected to speak in English for as long as they wear their school uniforms.
  • Students caught speaking in Mizo will be detained after school or will have to come to school on Saturday.

LEAVE

  • Students who have been absent must have a good reason for their absence written down in their dairy signed by parents which is to be shown to the class teacher on the day that they come to school.
  • Leave of application acquired from associations or other agencies will not be accepted.
  • If a student has to take leave due to sickness or unavoidable circumstances, parents must inform the class teacher and the Principal before the class starts for the day.
  • Students must have 80% of the total attendance. If a student has less than 80% of the attendance, he or she will not be allowed to sit for the final examination. Students suffering from prolonged illnesses are an exception.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE SCHOOL

  • If parents decide to withdraw their child/children in the middle of the academic session, they must clear the whole year’s tuition fees. Transfer Certificate will be offered only after the tuition fee is cleared.
  • Rs.100/- must be paid for issuing the Transfer Certificate.
  • Transfer Certificate will not be issued to students who are expelled from the school due to inappropriate behavior or conduct against the school rules and regulations.

PENALTY FOR OFFENDERS/VIOLATORS OF SCHOOL RULES

  • The school will not tolerate any  misconduct of behavior or violation against the school rules and  regulations. If a student is expelled due to violation of the school rules and regulations, their transfer certificate will be mentioned as ‘Violation of School Rules and Regulations.’
  • Violation record will be kept in the classroom by the class teachers. Violation of the rules and regulations for the third time will result in expulsion from the School. The fines are as follows:

DESTRUCTION OF SCHOOL PROPERTY

  • The students are expected to respect the school property.
  • Any destruction of the school property by the students will result in a fine of Rs.200/- minimum.
  • The fine imposed will depend upon the worth of the property destroyed.
  • Students are also expected to refrain from making graffiti or carvings on school desks, benches and walls.

FINES

  • Parents must come to the school to pay the fines imposed on the students for failing to comply with the school rules and regulations.
