Science Field Trip to Hmuifang
Our students from Classes VI to VIII recently experienced an enriching Science Field Trip to Hmuifang. Accompanied by their enthusiastic teachers, our young scientists explored the natural wonders of Hmuifang, where they engaged in hands-on learning about biodiversity, ecology, and conservation. This trip was not only a break from the classroom but an extension of their science curriculum, bringing theoretical knowledge into the vibrant context of nature. Students observed various species of flora and fauna, studied geological formations, and learned about the local ecosystem’s sustainability challenges and solutions.
Inter-House Debate Competition
The school buzzed with intellectual energy during our Inter-House Debate Competition. Each of our four houses selected four eloquent debaters to represent them in a spirited contest of wit, knowledge, and public speaking prowess. The topics ranged from environmental issues to the role of technology in education, providing our students with a platform to voice their opinions, challenge their peers’ thoughts, and hone their critical thinking skills. This event not only fostered healthy competition but also promoted teamwork, research, and the art of argumentation among our students.
Celebrating Academic Excellence: Dayne Thiamsangliana’s Triumph
We are incredibly proud to announce that Dayne Thiamsangliana, a former student of NEUHOF, has achieved a remarkable feat by passing the UPSC examination for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Finals. Dayne has not only been selected but has also cleared the rigorous medical fitness exam, securing his place at the prestigious National Defence Academy in Pune. He is now embarking on an inspiring journey to become an Officer in the Indian Army. Dayne’s success is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and the values he imbibed during his time at NEUHOF. We wish him all the best in his training and future service to the nation.
